The Stamina 552065 Dual Action Elite is a more expensive unit in the Stamina Elliptical/Stepper fitness machine range.   List price is around $1200, but if you hunt around you can probably find it for about $600.

There are 12 workouts pre-programmed in already in this elliptical stepper and you can add a further four personalized ones. The monitor is battery operated (it shows time, height, weight, RPM, speed, distance, fat percentage, calories burned, metabolism rate, and heart rate).

There are heart-rate sensors in a stationary hand grip.

You can change the intensity via + and -buttons on the monitor. The machine uses a weighted flywheel-resistance and belt-drive train - operation is smooth and silent

Switching between modes is quick and easy. You can use either handlebars or a stationary hand grip - or neigther, when you want to train a little harder.

The frame is made of steel and aluminum, and there are floor protectors to safeguard a workout area and prevent skidding.
